HBO Max released the first official teaser trailer for the new sequel to ‘A Christmas Story‘ on Monday. In this film, Peter Billingsley reprises his role as Ralphie.
Peter Billingsley played the role of Ralphie at the age of 12. Billingsley did not act in the 1994 film “My Summer Story” or the 2012 film “A Christmas Story 2”.
“A Christmas Story Christmas” is the third sequel to “A Christmas Story”.
The first teaser trailer has a lot of interior shots of the Christmas Story house, which features some iconic memorabilia – including a leg lamp – and dialogue from the original film. A grown-up Ralphie is shown at the end of the trailer.
The film is slated to release on 17 November 2022, a day before the 39th anniversary of the first film’s original release date.
The film will be released on HBO Max streaming service.
