Renowned actor and two-time Oscar winner, Hilary Swank, has given birth to twins, a boy and a girl.
The 48-year-old star took to Instagram on Sunday evening to share a beautiful photo of herself and her newborns gazing at the sunset, captioning it: “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it.”
Swank has been married to entrepreneur Philip Schneider since 2018 and the couple is overjoyed to welcome their bundles of joy. The Hollywood actress had been filming her new ABC show, “Alaska Daily,” during her pregnancy, and in an October interview, she revealed how she hid her bump while on set by cutting open her pants and wearing a jacket.
The Golden Globe winner also shared some lighthearted moments during her pregnancy journey. She joked on the red carpet at January’s Golden Globe Awards that a store worker advised her to start jumping up and down to speed up her pregnancy, and even considered adding Salt-N-Pepa’s iconic hit “Push It” to her delivery playlist.
Now that the twins have arrived, Swank expressed her elation and shared with her Instagram followers that she’s “posting from pure heaven.” The happy couple has yet to reveal the names of their newborns.
