PM Justin Trudeau of Canada and his wife Sophie have announced their separation
Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, and his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau are divorcing. On Wednesday, Trudeau posted this announcement to his Instagram page.

Sophie and Trudeau had “many meaningful and difficult conversations,” and then Justin Trudeau announced, “We have decided to separate.”

We will continue to be close friends and a loving family to our kids, whose privacy we want to be respected, he added.

After spending a lot of time in Vancouver studying, Trudeau’s official biography describes his 2002 return to Montreal, which was a significant moment when fate brought him and Grégoire Trudeau together and forever changed the trajectory of their lives.

Justin Trudeau moved back to Montreal in 2002, when he met Sophie Grégoire. They were wed in 2005, and now they are the proud parents of Hadrien, Xavier, and Ella-Grace.

Grégoire Trudeau, who holds a communications degree from McGill University in Montreal, worked in sales and advertising before to becoming a television and radio reporter, according to the Liberal Party website.

This duo has traversed sunny days, intense storms, and everything in between, and it’s not finished yet, Grégoire Trudeau wrote in an earlier Instagram post commemorating their wedding anniversary last year.

Long-term partnerships have a lot of difficulties, she continued. They necessitate continuous labor, adaptability, sacrifice, and a host of other qualities. No relationship is perfect because none of us are perfect. But true love merely protects, liberates, and nurtures its recipient.

Prior to meeting with President Joe Biden in March, this couple began their tour by attending King Charles’ coronation in London in May.
