Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown shared that he, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Jameson Williams were prohibited by a referee from doing their playful “booger pick and flick” touchdown celebration during their 41-34 loss to the Rams in Week 15. On the Up&Adams show, St. Brown said the celebration was suggested by rookie Tyleik Williams and was originally intended to mark first downs.
However, the referee stopped the tradition after the opening drive, prompting St. Brown to joke that “they just took away all our mojo.” Despite the restriction, St. Brown had an impressive outing with 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Williams added 134 yards and a score, while Gibbs contributed 38 rushing yards. The Lions, now 8-6, will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16 as they fight to maintain their playoff chances.
