‘One Battle After Another,’ ‘The White Lotus’ lead Golden Globe nominations: See the full list

Hollywood officially kicked off awards season with the 2026 Golden Globe nominations, led by the film One Battle After Another, which earned nine nods including Best Picture (Drama) and multiple acting nominations. On the TV side, The White Lotus topped the list with six nominations.

A major surprise came when Wicked: For Good was left out of the Best Picture (Musical or Comedy) category, though stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were still nominated, with Erivo making history as the first Black woman to earn two lead actress nods in a comedy/musical film. Jacob Elordi scored two nominations across film and TV, while Sydney Sweeney was unexpectedly shut out. The ceremony will also honor Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker with special awards during a new “Golden Eve” special on Jan. 8, before the 83rd annual Golden Globes air Jan. 11, 2026, hosted by Nikki Glaser.
