Ross Chastain secured his third career victory in the NASCAR Cup Series by winning the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.

Driving for Trackhouse Racing, Chastain dominated the race by leading 100 laps and narrowly holding off Martin Truex Jr. to cross the finish line first.

This win was especially meaningful for Chastain as it was his team's first triumph of the year and he also earned his first pole position.

Chastain celebrated his playoff berth by performing a burnout and smashing a watermelon on the start-finish line.

Truex, the season points leader, finished second, followed by Denny Hamlin in third.

Briscoe's race concluded in the 31st position.

The race featured exciting three-wide racing and had a couple of caution incidents, including a significant crash involving Ryan Blaney.

The next NASCAR race will be a street course race in downtown Chicago on July 2.
