Mega Millions jackpot reaches $560 million

The recent Mega Millions drawing had no jackpot winner, pushing the prize to $560 million for the next drawing.

Three people won $1 million each, while five players from Texas won $20,000.

The winning numbers were 10, 17, 33, 51, 64, and the Mega Ball was 5.

The jackpot has a cash value of $281.1 million ahead of the next drawing Friday.

The jackpot has been growing since April 18 when the winning ticket was sold in New York.

The upcoming Mega Millions prize falls short of the largest US jackpot, which is the $725 million Powerball.

The Powerball drawing on Wednesday could be the seventh-largest in history.

If two or more people win the jackpot in the same drawing, the money is shared equally among all winning tickets.
