NFL Preseason Highlights: On Sunday, Bo Nix led the Denver Broncos to a 34-30 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in their preseason opener. Nix, who completed 15 of 21 passes, threw for 125 yards and a touchdown. The Broncos’ first-round pick took over after Jarrett Stidham struggled early on, finishing with 37 yards and an interception.

Nix guided four scoring drives, including a 1-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Mims Jr. in the second quarter. He also added 17 yards on the ground, showing off his mobility. Zach Wilson, Denver’s third quarterback, had a solid outing, going 10-of-13 for 117 yards. Audric Estime contributed with 31 rushing yards and one of the Broncos’ three rushing touchdowns.

The Colts’ Anthony Richardson started the game, leading two brief drives before being replaced. Richardson completed 2 out of 4 passes for 25 yards and also had a 1-yard run. Star running back Jonathan Taylor, who had just two carries for four yards, saw limited action. Indianapolis (0-1) got a big play from Micah Abraham, who returned a fumble by Estime 45 yards for a touchdown.

Rams Edge Cowboys in a Nail-Biter

In another thrilling preseason matchup, the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Dallas Cowboys 13-12. Stetson Bennett found Miller Forristall for a 6-yard touchdown with just four seconds remaining in the game, sealing the win for the Rams.

Bennett had a challenging day overall, throwing four interceptions. However, he completed 24 of 38 passes for 224 yards. Jordan Whittington was the top target, grabbing six catches for 74 yards.

The Cowboys (0-1) had taken a 12-6 lead in the fourth quarter with two field goals from Brandon Aubrey, one from 38 yards and another from 52 yards. Trey Lance led the Cowboys with 188 passing yards on 25-for-41 attempts and was also their leading rusher with 44 yards on six carries.

This weekend’s games offered a glimpse of what fans can expect in the upcoming season, with young quarterbacks like Nix and Bennett showing their potential. The Broncos and Rams both start the preseason on a high note, while the Colts and Cowboys will look to bounce back next week.
