Mohamed Salah made history in Liverpool’s opening match of the Premier League season. The Egyptian superstar scored Liverpool’s second goal in their 2-0 victory over Ipswich on Saturday.

With this goal, Salah has now set a new record for the most goals scored in the first game of a Premier League season, bringing his total to nine. He surpasses the previous record of eight, which was held by Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, and Alan Shearer.

Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has continually impressed fans and critics alike with his incredible goal-scoring ability. At 32 years old, he continues to break records and lead by example.
